Within the technical category you can find sub-categories connected with technical issues, functional and visual defects, wrongly assembled kits, label issues or design issues which you can observe, for example, when there is lack of compatibility of items.
- Functional defects - A functional defect can be related to:
- Cutting and machining operations which may be wrongly produced. (Example: wrong length of the beam, missing machining, machining not properly carried out)
- Items with wrong dimensions (Example: item size, hole in wrong position)
- Limited functionality (Example: motor running slower than required) or missing functionality (Example: motor not running at all, wrong voltage etc.)
- Motor fault - The following sub-categories are included:
- Load working of the motor Note: Attach a video showing symptoms and describe any other symptoms like increased temperature / uneven working / visible movement of the entire drive / increased current consumption
- Heating of the motor Note: if possible, specify the temperature of the motor
- Undesired movements - like shaking of the motor, entire drive or visible play Note: Attach a video of the complaint symptom if possible
- Oil leakage - in case of sweating on a gasket or oil stain. Note: Specify in the details field if there are any other symptoms such as loud working or overheating and attach a photo to the complaint
- Wrong parameters (incorrect supply voltage) Example: 230V/400V mixing issue
- Wrong shaft dimension – when you cannot assemble a ‘key’, when shaft has got wrong length or diameter
- Burnout Note: Specify when it happened and attach pictures of electrical connections of the motor on the side of the cabinet and the terminal box
- No torque transfer between gear and motor - when it may be observed that the gear is not turning, by turning the motor control on the fly (fan turning)
- Wrong motor plate - if motor plate is not valid
- Packaging issue - if there are any doubts or remarks regarding packaging
- Damage - if there is any damage which is not connected to transport damage. Note: Attach pictures
- Other - in cases when any other suitable option is not applicable. Note: describe in details field what is not working
- Visual defects - The following sub-categories are included:
- Scratches – areas of damage when you see cuts which are not deep
- Discoloration – areas of visible mismatch in the color on the part
- Burn marks - burn marks appearing on injection molded parts which are discolorations, usually rust colored
- Inclusions – can occur in steel or plastic parts when there are visible parts of one material into another (can be also other color)
- Dirt – there is visible spot or stain on a part, which can also protrude
- Orange peel – occur on painted elements when the surface is not smooth
- Flow lines – occur on plastic elements, when are visible lines of floating material (lines usually are not straight)
- Die lines – occur on extruded material (lines are straight visible on aluminum parts)
- Rust – yellow/brown flaking coating of iron oxide that is formed on iron or steel by oxidation, especially in the presence of moisture
- Bubbles – occurs on the surface especially painted ones filled with air
- Other – if any of above-described defect describe the fault.
- Wrong quantity in unit package – issues with standard component when quantity does not correspond with the specification (Example: in the package of XCAN 8 there is 8 pieces instead of 10). NOTE: Always attach the picture of the label.
- Missing component in the package – kit (package) consists of two or more different elements and one of it is missing (Example: in the kit there are 2 screws and 2 nuts, one nut is missing). NOTE: Always attach the picture of the label.
- Lack of compatibility (item to item) - two properly used parts are not compatible – you cannot assembly them or do not have the correct function after the assembly.
- Customer support tools – issue with OLS, FLDT or FLQT; describe more in details the field.
- Wrong label – issue connected to the label: choose wrong item label or wrong transport label. NOTE: Always attach the picture of the label.
